We are a local Michiana business that assists students, teachers and school organizations with financial help thru our local auctions and store.
bidmichiana.com is powered by Bargain Wright Thrift Store. Our store donates profits monthly to educational causes. Online auctions provide yet another way for us to continue our mission in assisting schools, children and educators.
We auction off new and lightly preowned items with a large portion of the proceeds (net) going to organization(s) for the benefit of teachers, school organizations and students in the Michiana area.

Why should I bid?:
Up to 50% of the net proceeds from each auction / sale go directly to schools / school organizations to benefit teachers / kids.
money can be used to pay student lunch debt, for playground equipment, supplies, needed classroom items and more. Your generous winning bid stays local and helps others.

Once your payment is processed:
You’ve won! You’ll need to pick up your auction item(s) at our store within 6 days of auctions end. All sales are final. A portion of your payment then goes towards fulfilling needs at our local schools!
Where do a portion of the profits go?
Every auction sale has a large portion going to local schools, PTO’s/PTA’s, educators etc.
Funds can be used at their discrection to meet the needs of the kids, organization goals, teacher supplies, classroom needs, student lunches, fund raising and more

Where can I pick up my winning auction item(s)? - At Bargain Wright Thrift Store 3700 Cassopolis St, Elkhart Tues - Sat 11-3 and Sunday 11-3
Is it possible to have my item shipped? - Yes! Most items can be shipped. When you check out, you can choose shipping and pay a preset shipping charge. There are a few fragile/heavier items that cannot ship.
Is my credit card payment safe? - Yes! Payments are processed thru Betterworld and it’s partner Stripe, a leading credit card processor nationwide!
Can I view an item prior to bidding? - All items are in a secured area but if you must see an item, you can contact us to make arrangements.
I changed my mind on an auction. Will you refund me? No. All sales are final. You may inspect any item for damage at pickup. If it‘s not as described, we may at our discretion assist you for satisfaction. Most items are brand new so damage is highly unlikely.
Can I donate an item(s)? - Absolutely! Know that your item(s) help schools and school children. You make a difference! We do ask that the items are new or in excellent condition and have a value of at least $25 each.
Do we take donations? YES!
What can I donate? We’ll accept anything that has a value of $25 or more and is clean, new and in working condition. Your donation to the auction makes a big difference in our community.
How do I donate? You may bring donations to our store between the hours of 11-3 Tuesday - Sunday - Bargain Wright 3700 Cassopolis St, Elkhart, IN 46514
What if you can’t put it in the auction? Should the item not sell on the auction or isn’t something that would sell on an auction, we’ll still accept the item and put it in our store. Donations that sell in the store still have proceeds given the the same causes!
